Saying Goodbye to Make-up

feature photo

Most women believe that their makeup does not expire; they think they only have to replace their makeup as often as they change the tapes in their security camera systems but they could not be more wrong. Concealers can last up to 12 months. Powders – pressed, loose, translucent – can last two years before expiring. Creams and gels have a shelf-life of one year. Eyeliners should be sharpened regularly so bacteria does not set and can last three years. Lipsticks can last you up to a year, to four years, but as soon as it starts to smell funky, throw it out.
