Ganbanyoku stone sauna is the newest health trend today emerging from Japan. The word meaning “stone bath” or “stone sauna”, it is a large piece of granite, black and white silica and tourmaline laid into an elevated floor, like bedrock, heated up to 40 degrees Centigrade or 105 degrees Fahrenheit. If a CCTV camera is allowed in the sauna room, sweat oozing out from ones pores could be observed, literally dripping. This stone sauna is efficient in detoxification, improved the circulatory system and is good for the skin. The far-infrared rays work to heat the body deep inside, causing one to sweat profusely. As the body warms up, the blood vessels dilate thus improving blood circulation, increases metabolism, helps eliminate waste and toxins from the body and relieves stress.
